Our physiotherapists work with an electric muscle stimulator that sends electrical impulses to your muscles, causing the muscle to contract. It’s completely safe and proven to be effective. We have various programs that we can help with:

The electric muscle stimulator is able to manipulate the physiology of a muscle in two main ways. Firstly, is enhancing & speeding the process of hypertrophy. The safe electrical impulses cause muscle contraction and when combined with exercise the result is quite impressive as 100% of the muscle fibre will contract compared to regular exercise with only 30%. The muscles are then forced to adapt and the overall result is hypertrophy (an increase in muscle mass due to the addition of structural proteins). Another great advantage is that specific muscles can be selected and will be able to withstand more highly intense workouts.
